The church is growing and doing well even in the crisis. They also have a food bank and the church has grown by them helping others
They have a voice and have a good reputation  in their community
We are very thankful for the way God has touched lives through CReA/café house/culture centre.
It has opened doors for people on the streets to know us and gives us the opportunity to share Jesus with them.

A blessed trip to Barcelona, Spain sharing in the church’s Valentine’s Banquet.

Our prayer requests are:
Safety and great ministry for the Women’s Ministry trip to Spain and France from March 19-29. After ministering to the women and church in Madrid, they will come to Granada for activities in the outreach ministry center with the Adult English students and also with Arab women from different countries.
Kathy will be with them for the whole visit and Gary will help while they are in Spain. We will both be driving vans so we’d appreciate prayers for the logistics of the trip.
Our daughter, Lisa, is looking for a job. She graduated from Regent University with a master’s degree in Political Science but has just moved to Colorado Springs after some difficult experiences. She’s going through a hard time and a lot of loss. We’d appreciate your prayers for her.

New Life West: Amsterdam
Successful Church Plant
Matt and Femke have done a great job in Amsterdam. We have witnessed the body of Christ, His Church coming together to celebrate. We were impressed that his dedicated young couple have done what many would find impossible, Planting a Church in the heart of Amsterdam. The Hellands have a Kids Club as well that brings together mostly Muslim kids and teaches them a totally Christian theme. They now have plans for their next Church Plant and I'm sure they will do what they set out to do.

Of course the News Channels are filled with news of the crisis in the Ukraine. But we have over 150 Churches in the Ukraine and at least 10 of them in the Crimean area. We praise God for our leadership team who step up to the plate and did  very good ministry during the summer months
Lin and I will continue being the senor pastors of the church in Madrid but we are able to give more responsibilities to our leaders

We are still planting churches and extending our boundaries

PRAYER REQUEST:
We are looking into branding CReA (culture center) to be reproduced throughout Europe
The ministry of the culture center is to reach people who normally do not enter into a church… it is a great tool for evangelism
People in our churches have brought their bosses to an art show and were very impressed by the culture center and when Lin would go and talk with them they were VERY OPEN to the gospel
It opens so many doors for us to share our faith
I will be having a WOMEN’S ENCOUNTER this Sunday in CReA we were going to have it last Sunday but had to postpone till 3 of Nov

Colossians 4:2-3 says…..“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message,
so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains” (Colossians 4:2–3, NIV).
We are not in literal chains as Paul was, but we do serve in an area where many are resistant to the gospel.
  • Pray against evil forces that would seek to hinder the spread of the gospel.
  • Please pray for individual hearts to be open and receptive to God’s truth. Pray that God will lead us to hearts ready to receive His Word.
  • Pray that God will open doors of ministry, blessing partnerships and friendships.
  • Pray that we will be led by the Holy Spirit and recognize open-door opportunities.
  • Pray that God will give specific direction regarding our church planting endeavors.

Things in Belgium are moving along. We have a few praise reports to share:

1) Our newest church plant just moved to every Sunday services. We have been meeting only two Sunday's a month. However, our ConnectGroups have been meeting every week. We are very excited to have our official dedication service November 24th. Harold Presley will be our guest speaker.
2) We are very thankful that SOWer Jennifer Moore from the Cornerstone Conference is with us for a few weeks. She came to help us in Children's Church as we are now in every Sunday services.
3) Bible School is going well. It's a rebuilding year as we had a lot of students graduate last year. Gretchen and I are serving as interim administrator due to Mau and Lulu itinerating the next few weeks in the States.
4) We have had a lot of open doors to teach and minister in several different venues: Schools of Ministry, Continental Theological Seminary and young adult retreats. This has allowed us to build some new relationships.

Prayer Requests:

1) We're praying and seeking for a SOWer for Children's work. The tasks we need is three fold. First, to serve as our children's leader in the new church plant. Second, to create a children's outreach. And third, to train children leaders in other churches. Please pray with us.
2) We will be engaging in some new areas of outreach in the coming months. We are wanting to be strategic and more effective.
3) Continued language skills in Dutch!
4) I (Bill) will be in the States the entire month of February. Please pray for effective fundraising, my family, and for our new church plant during this time.
Blessings,
Bill, Gretchen, Rachel and Ryan

Praise report:  Enjoyed our time in October with Bob cave and the various young adult leaders planning for EuroQuest 2014. The continent is in safe hands with these great young people! We also had a good time in Romania at the conference center at Suncuius and DCPI. I have just finished a week of teaching in Ukraine with Paul and Beverly Oxley. 23 students were enrolled. We had a lot of fun, food, and fellowship. The Ukrainians are such wonderful people! We will be going to Germany for the next DCPI in December. This is a great program...pray that it catches on to the national churches...Romania has a good start! Pray for my visa/work permit situation...it appears everything is in order, but this time because of the status of the church in Hungary they have asked for more paperwork. When you think you have it all together...something always comes up!  I am asking for a five year work permit.  Thank you all for prayers and all your encouraging emails and facebook thoughts... love my fellow missionaries! God be with you around the world today!

Hello from Oradea,
We're so thankful for the Indian summer days....
On the other hand, we're just in the middle of a Thanksgiving Week. Each evening we come to church expressing our gratitude to God for the passing year and the marvelous things
He has done in our midst so far. So, our "request" are actually praise report for:
1. Freedom regarding the Word of God (in Romanian language, we can preach/distribute it without persecution)
2. For the social projects our church is involved in, for the way God provided so far to meet the needs of the people that are part of these social projects
(Kitchen Meal, After School, A Chance For a Better Life)
3. For Angela and Ismail in Turkey and the mission field
4. For those who minister in our church in various departments: families, youth, Sunday School, intercession meetings)
5. For the continual growth of the Cell Group ministry
Thank you for your prayers. Much appreciated! May God bless you and supply all your needs as well!

Pray with us for the peace of Jerusalem and peace in individual lives.

We praise the Lord for His faithfulness in every aspect of our lives!
