Pray for Todd and Stephanie PresleyServing in Wales Hello again. Sorry to those of you who have been waiting by the phone forme to ring you with Eli's catheter results. We went in on Wednesday and Eliwas a trooper. His cath was performed Thursday and it went smooth. He wasagain, a trooper but a little weary from the anesthesia. THe results showthat he will need surgery anywhere in two to six months from now. It's NOTlife threatening. But if not done soon other complications will begin tooccur. We're sittin' pretty with the Bristol, UAB and TX Children'shospitals so it's just a matter of prayer and practicalities as to where wedecide to have it done. Having said all of this we will still consult withEli's Ped. Cardiologist at UAB for confirmation. I'd be happy to answer any individual replies but wanted to get the word outwithout delaying another day. Gary and Kathy in Granada Praise Reports: 1. The opportunity to visit Morocco and stay with Muslim friends, share ourfaith with them and others during the travels.2. Consistent attendance and deeper friendships in the language classes atthe outreach centre with Spanish and Immigrant neighbours. They are askingfor more activities and more people groups are represented. Prayer Requests1. That we will know how to take advantage of Christmas activities to shareand give witness to our faith with friends, neighbours, and family. 2. That the Lord will guide us regarding the new cycle of classes that willbegin in January.3. That Spain will have a revival.4. Presidential elections in Venezuela on Dec. 3
Portugal Tony and Patti Guasco Here at Nova Vida things are going well. We have had a salvation, baptism,marriage and infilling of the Holy Spirit all from the same young lady.This all took place in the month of Sept. We ask that you pray for her -Jade and her Husband Gonçalo, as they start their lives together and move tothe Azores (Islands off of Portugal) within a month. We also ask that youpray for Guido & Stephania (the owners of the house where we hold church),they need a financial breakthrough. We will need a new place to hold churchwithin a few months because of the growth, so as you can image we too needfinancial breakthroughs. On that subject our oldest Child, Alisa is inBible school in Dallas and she needs $1,000 dollars this month in order tofinish this semester - not to mention she needs $5,000 more to finish schoolcompletely. Our church here in Lisbon is trying to get registered with the government sowe ask for prayers for this as well. All in all we are doing well and God is really showing up in the servicesand pray meetings. The people are being challenged and some are growing byleaps and bounds. It's wonderful to see the growth in their lives. Praying for France Marty Delmon My praise report is that I am right now in London staying with Harold andKathleen Presley as I gave one of my Buried Lies workshops at the Fountainof Life church. The people received so easily, they were so open, and manylies were exposed and eliminated, planting the truth instead. I t wasexhilarating for me to hear their testimonies afterwards. My request is that this prayer process continue to bless people everywhere,as everyone needs to get rid of the lies in their lives. Please pray for the distribution of my workbook, Buried Lies CompanionWorkbook, as it is a stand alone book that leads people to the root of a lieand directs them to successfully pull it out by the root and plant the truthin the place of the lie. Another praise report is that the number of radio stations has grown from 28to 48. Please pray that the Lord would provide a high speed CD duplicatoras each station requires its own CDs to be sent and that's a lot of manuallabor hovering over my little laptop. Praying for Germany Mark and Jeannie McClung Dear Praying Friends, A Georgia Conference work team was here for 12 days working at theTreffpunkt Ministry Center. So much was accomplished through their efforts.They did various projects while here but their main project was tearing outthe old patio, installing a trench related water pipe, putting a watersealer against the wall and now laying the patio with handicap ramp. Therestrooms in the Coffee House are almost completed and once they are, wehope to receive our occupancy permit from the City of Berlin. We are stilltargeting to open the Coffee House and hold our services at the Treffpunktin December. Please pray we will have favor with the City when applyingfor the permit and that our December date will be a reality! While the team was here, they worked with a contact of ours, Axel Lenz.Axel owns a patio/landscaping company. Mark and I have known Axel and hiswife, Angela, for many years. We have often spent time with them and haveshared the Gospel with them. Each time they were not yet ready to receiveChrist. This past week, there was a very special bond formed between Axel,Angela and the team. Through various family needs that Axel and Angela haveat this time, they were more open to the Gospel and allowed Pastor JohnPrice to pray with them for their needs. Mark will continue working withAxel for the next week or so until this project is complete. Please prayfor Angela and Axel that the Holy Spirit will draw them and reveal to themtheir greatest need - a Savior, and that they will accept Jesus. Please pray for the new house/group church plant in Berlin-Buch. We haveabout 8 people attending each Wednesday evening. Weare in the process of moving and have just now connected our new phone lineand utilities. We have not even moved in totally, but we had our firstyoung peoples meeting for music and prayer this past Saturday. They willcontinue to meet here every Saturday evening. We thank God for thedirection of the Mission Department and the leadership of Brother Beachamfor helping us to purchase this property. The Budapest Coffee House is infull swing and now we have a young Norwegian man from "Jesus Revolution"leading a cell group three days a week.
The people of Hungary are growing inJesus!. Great things are happening in Eastern Europe. Praying for Romania Ben and Marianne Janssen Eastern Europe: Praise report: Last week was the first class of the CICM Romania Institute.Twenty-five students are enrolled and studied "Spiritual Disciplines" Thestudents were on fire about the subjects discussed and we see a start ofbetter leadership in our Romanian churches. Prayer request: As the economy in Romania starts to rise to Europeanstandards and the salaries remain at the previous levels, many of our IPHCchurch members suffer financially. Praying for Tallinn, Estonia Larry and Deborah Mininger Dear Friends, Thank you so much for all the prayers you have sent up for Larry and I andour ministry in Eastern Europe. We have been so blessed. We went to Estonia in October to renew our papers for our resident permits.We will know by February the results. Please pray that we can get permitstatus. We are in PA now raising our funds for support. We celebrated Thanksgivinghere with Pastor Kent Bell and his family and Greg and Holly Terry. It wasa wonderful time. On Dec. 4 we will set out to drive to California to bewith our family for Christmas. Our mothers are not doing well so we feel itis worth the time and money. We will minister in Ohio and Kansas on our wayto the West Coast. After Christmas we will travel to Houston, TX to be withour daughter for the New Years and then on to Florida to continue raisingour support. International Pentecostal Holiness Church prays for Europe using the ministry of WIN: World Intercession Network. This is a ministry of the Church and the purpose of this blog is to encourage people to pray for Europe. It is written and added by Rev. Nancy Berry who is the director for Pray over Europe and the Middle East. She and her husband Lin Berry live in Spain and serve as Pastors, conference superintendent over Spain. They are missionaries to SW Europe.
