Happy New Year 2009

Eastern Europe:

Pray for Dave & Linda Fannin; Eastern Europe:

We are praying that in the next coming year much fruit will be produced for the Lord in Eastern Europe/Middle East. We are reminded of the fact that the days of fasting are coming on and we want to participate in this wonderful spiritual discipline. I just want to remind all of us that even though we can express our heartfelt prayer through intercession and studying the Word of God, unless "obedience" to what the Lord has already commanded is put into effect can we really begin to see the difference. "Prayers need legs". What do I mean by this? I am saddened by the fact that a great sector of our IPHC does not support World Missions in any fashion. This is very sad indeed. Although the church is asking for a "fast" is it really fair to ask God to comply to our prayers when so many are overlooking the very heart of God for salvation for the nations or the last command He gave to His followers or to support this endeavor in anyway? To some it may sound like a negative respond for a prayer request, but in this coming year we really pray that our church collectively and individually would come to terms with what the "Great Commission" really means.

We are living in the greatest days of the Church of Jesus Christ and despite the economy, war, conflict, and all that takes place around us, we need to be reminded that God is the Source for all our needs; people, circumstances, and institutions are all channels and instruments and means to get the source to us, but let us never forget God is the Source as we go into this coming year. We pray for all our missionary co-workers and pray for all the national brothers and sisters. We pray for all our leaders at home and abroad that they will know the mind of God completely for strategy and vision. Our prayer is that God will strengthen all of us and give us wisdom and direction. God bless us all and give to us a very prosperous and adventurous year in the Lord accomplishing much for His Kingdom.

Greetings from Romania.
We praise God for the victories He gave to us this passing year. We thank Him for the not so good experiences. This are due to our limitations but learn from all. It has been a blessed year, with people saved and Christians became more mature.
We are expecting more from God in the coming year. He had promised us more people saved. We will start the New Year with the 21 days fasting. We pray and ask help in prayers for our first European PH Conference which will take place in Oradea, May 13 - 15. Let's believe for a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
Have a blessed year 2009! Teodor Bulzan

Please pray for our pastor here in Romania. He has been in intensive care unit since a successful operation. It seems that he got an infection of some kind and the doctors have given him up.

Yet he survived so far and we need to pray him out of that place.

Pray for Albania: David & Valbona

Thank you for the opportunity to share with you our needs and Praise reports. This has been one of the hardest years we have had, but we thank the Lord and all those who have prayed and encouraged us and supported us financially. We feel we are through the roughest parts and things are looking much better. We thank the Lord that through it all we and our people are much stronger because of it. This past year we have seen the powerful hand of God and have seen His Glory and have experienced His miracle working power.

Prayer requests:

1. We are heading back to Canada/USA the end of January for 2 1/2 months. Pray for protection on us while we travel and that God would open the church doors so we can share what God is doing in Albania.

2. Pray that God would supply all our finances and support for this coming year during our time at home.

3. Pray for the churches here in Albania that God would continue to move and the Glory of God would shine forth.

4. Pray for our health.

5. Pray that we are able to secure a tent or a place to hold that United Youth for Christ youth convention in May. We need to get this settled before we leave the end of January.

6. Pray that God would lead us as we continue our search so we can start a Christian TV station in Albania. God is opening some doors but we need finances and equipment.

7. Pray that a book that Valbona has translated will be printed before we leave for Canada.

Thank you very much

David, Valbona, Christopher & Kimberley Pennoyer
