PRAYER FOCUS: Praying for Europe

Pray for:  SOUTHWEST EUROPE     Lin and Nancy Berry
The un-employment here in Spain is at an all-time high 27% … with that we have a lot of  people out of work, many families have been evicted from their homes… they couldn’t pay their bills… demonstrations and corruption surround us on every side…There is a lot of anger, frustration, fear and uncertainty for the future. The stress and pressure has effected many. The pain has driven many of our South Americans back to their own country. I read today about a man who had cut off his hand just to collect the insurance money.
I know all of this sounds very negative and it is!!!
THAT IS WHY WE ARE HERE
To preach the good news of the redeeming power of our Lord
To help people find an answer to the crisis
To better themselves to find a job
We open up a culture centre in Madrid to help people to do just that!!!
Pray for   CReA   and what is CREA:
It is a place where we meet unbelievers. It is a place of training for our people to reach the lost.
We help people to find the answer to their problems… We help them to help themselves
We have prayer meetings and church activities

A few months ago I had posted on FB about the clot in Lin’s leg… update: it is some better but he still is on blood thinner that he has to inject himself every morning
The doctor says if it isn’t gone he will have to have it removed by surgery… please remember him in your prayers

Praise Reports:

1. Yea, we were able to find a car for our furlough travels.
2. All went well at the Hispanic training with 43 students studying Bro. Underwood's book, 16 Principles here in Oklahoma City.
3. Thanking God for His faithfulness and for praying friends!

Prayer Requests:

1. This week we leave Oklahoma for California for the month of May where we'll be itinerating. We pray for the Lord's protection, guidance and anointing as we visit churches and interact with many people.
2. The parking garage where our car is in Spain was broken into and someone broke our passenger window and took out everything that was in the car.  We pray that we can get the window taken care of through friends there who will help us.
3.  We miss Spain and the work there and pray that everything will be so that we can return as scheduled in August.

Our prayer requests:
We are doing fine by the grace of God. Please thank the Lord for the permit for our building that we finally got. A great miracle since 3 weeks before Marc had been told by the officials that we would never get it and that the mayor would put us in court! Please pray that the relationship with our mayor and the town will completely turn around. For divine favor in this area  Our church is doing well: our team is being put in place and there is a new commitment. A reason to be thankful. Please pray for our summer outreaches every week-end from 19 July to 18 August. Thank you for praying also for France: the government just adopted gay-marriage in spite of huge protests. The time to come is crucial for France: May 2013 could turn around May 1968 when there were the famous riots that brought liberalism and the abolishment of great part of Christian values. Healing a baby which was destined by the doctors to be born dead. All tests after birth show NO negative results.

Please pray for:
A brother of one of our members who is very young with two children and was found he has cancer spread all over his body.
God’s move among the nation of Malta and Gozo
More church members to be committed to service
Holiness as a way of life.


Pray for Portugal       Tony and Patti Guasco
Well April was a proud time for us and a sad time.  Firstly we were able to see our son Joey graduate from the Air Force Basic Training in San Antonio and now he is at his tech school in Pensacola. On a sad note, the 3rd of this month I lost my father.  He too was an Air Force Vet and would have loved to hear about his grandson, but it wasn't meant to be.

On the ministry side of things, we have been in over 55 churches and have on paper raised all of our support but unfortunately all that support isn't coming in, yet.  We are asking for your prayers for this and for the cost of flights, rent, movers and various and sundry things.  Thank you and God bless.  Tony & Patti

This month there is much taking place.
Basketball Camp Outreach - 80 young people are registered for basketball camp May 9-12, 2013.  Each day, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., the kids will be receiving basketball training, a hearty lunch and a devotional .  Please pray all logistics run smoothly.  Pray for Mark as he prepares devotionals and please pray the Word will be received and that many will receive Christ as Savior.
Please pray for Jeannie as she travels to the USA to attend our son's graduation from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (May 10th).  Philip will receive a BA in German Linguistics and a BA in French Linguistics.  Please pray for Philip as he begins his job search, the sequestor has put a hold on government jobs that he is seeking.
Because of a $300 per month shortage in our monthly missionary support income, Jeannie will also be doing a quick blitz itineration while she is in the states.  She has a full schedule - please pray God will anoint her mightily as she shares with the churches about missions.  Pray hearts are touched and challenged to do more to build the Kingdom of God. Pray she is able to raise the needed support.  Please pray for safety as she travels.
Pray for God's direction as we finalize plans for a major evangelistic outreach and thrust in Berlin Buch.  The team is working well together.  This could possibly lead to a new church plant in a very desperate part of the city.  Pray souls will be saved.

It's wonderful to be a part of the Body of Christ!  Thank you from our hearts for your prayers!

...travel provision and safety as we log extra miles for family stuff in the USA including Micah's graduation in May, Bethany's 1st child due in Sept, plus Gen Conf.
...Extra grace and revival anointing as we minister to bring renewal to our British "Mother-church".
...Good alliance and success as we partner with USA Pastor, Craig Walker, via Rob & Michelle Crigger to plant "Upward Church" in Bristol.
...healing for Bristol Pastor Dave Glover. (Severe complications related to heart failure and diabetes.)
...Blessings and favour on Jordan Bryan as he becomes our 1st intern in London's Intern-Discipleship House.
...blessings and wisdom and strength for Christopher & Belinda Skippers as the become host and hostess to this internship.
...Success for the UK pastors' intensive mentoring scheme on a six-month cycle they will initiate this summer.

Hello all! We are praising God for all he is doing in Belgium. Our new church "The Bridge" is doing well. We've recently had a new couple join our ministry team. In addition, we've added a second ConnectGroup. We are focusing on four areas of development four the next four months.

1) Leader Development
2) Strengthen our ministry to children.
3) Adding new ConnectGroups.
4) Establishing regular and systematic outreach/evangelism.

Prayer Request:
1) May 25th we will be having a Cinema Night Outreach
2) Converge 2013 is set for August 22-27.
3) Continued Support
4) Continued guidance for future ministry.

First, pray for those leading the church, foundation and society in Albania.
Second, pray for our family as we settle in Canada.
Third, pray for the finances of the work in Albania. It seems people think that it is not going to continue seeing I'm gone and the giving has dropped.
Fourth, pray that Valbona and I get proper jobs. My salary doesn't even cover our rent.
Fifth, pray that God would raise up a pastor for our churches in Albania.
Sixth, pray that as I speak in churches that God would provide in a big way. We need some miracles but that is the kind of God we serve.
