Dec. Prayer Letter 2008

Praying for Europe: December Prayer Letter 2008
5 December
First Friday Fast

By Rev. Nancy Berry iWIN Director

Pray for Dave & Linda Fannin; Eastern Europe:
We have just returned from a trip to Macedonia. Please remember to pray for our missionaries, the Samuel Ruiz family, that the Lord will go before them and give them favor with the Macedonian government. Another form of persecution for missionaries is wading through all the red tape of the nations who are opposed to the gospel. In post communist countries many of the Christians still endure persecution in other forms. i.e., permits, grants, land, institutions, government edicts, and many forms of the Orthodox, Catholic, and traditional churches. (making life harder for many) On top of that any Christian organization from the outside has to jump through many hurdles to get to their goals.
Europe is a conglomerate of many different customs, cultures, and peoples thrown together and most of the people have age-old hatreds and prejudices toward the nation right next to them. When people speak of Europe they assume East and West are alike. There is nothing further from the truth. What we must remember is that even though both are in a spiritual dilemma they are vastly different. Eastern Europe has been in the grips of communism and dictators. The mind set is different from West Europe. What may work as a mission plan in the West certainly, for the most part, cannot be applied in the Eastern Europe. There is a real hunger here, yet the religious spirit prevails. Will you help us pray that the strongholds of the enemy will be broken and that the Christians of Eastern Europe will know the worth in Jesus?
Pray for Dave and Bob Cave as they head for Israel this week. Protection and favor is needed.
Dave and Linda

Turkmenistan prayer request:

There are only two recognized churches in Turkmenistan. Our Kiev leaders are in contact with one of them. The leaders of these churches are in constant danger. Several pastors have been exiled, beaten, heavily fined and some are imprisoned. All foreign Christians have been expelled.

At this moment a new church plant is started off this mother church. We ask you prayer for protection for the leaders who are involved in this dangerous undertaking. The new church has to stay underground till a church building is completed.

Greetings from Ben and Marianne Janssen missionaries to Eastern Europe

Pray for Hungary

-In Hungary very hard times are behind us and no easier before us. The economic situation of our country is near to collapse, but we have joy in the Lord! We try to reach our nation with new methods: gospel concerts, lectures of interesting scientific topics combined with truth of Bible, coffee house for youth, etc.
These meetings are well attended and we ask God to bring more fruits of these events.
-God is faithful, so trust Him that in spite of financial difficulties the construction works in Szigetszentmiklós church and our Christian conference center Kánó will be completed in 2009.God give us wisdom and support.
- We need a deeper unity among the various kind of churches, and we missing very much the anointed leaders with integrity. We a lot of love: Ibolya Mézes

Pray for Estonia: Debbie & Larry Mininger: We are rejoicing that Larry is home from Ukraine after 3 weeks. He caught the flu while he was there and it took 2 weeks to recover. Praying for Europe: November Prayer Letter 2008
7 of November First Friday Fast

Nancy Berry WIN Director for Europe and Middle East

From the UK : Pray for NW Europe: www.nweuropeiphc.blogspot.com

What a mighty God we have!
We are praising God for His mercy, Dave has come through 2 angioplasties on his heart with a heart attack in between. He thought he might be going Home, but the Lord had other plans and is restoring his strength daily.
We would value prayer as Dave gets himself back into 'pastor mode'.
The coffee mornings we hold each week are well attended, and new contacts are being made.
Recently a couple with a real heart for evangelism have joined us and they are going out on the streets and door to door.
In amonst this several of our elderly members are in hospital, and really need God's grace at this time.
May God contim\nue to bless you and Lin greatly, Yours in Christ, Kathy Glover

Pray for Eastern Europe:

From Dave & Linda Fannin; Eastern Europe:
Hello to our European family and all who pray for us, We are so glad to be back and in full swing again on the continent! We had a long, and tiring furlough but we made it back. Thank the Lord He watched over us after traveling all over the states and across the world and back.
We pray for Dave and the building team from the Appalachian Conference as they are busy with the building project in Mangalia, Romania. They are a long way from Budapest! Dave drove from Hungary to Oradea for almost five hours and then on to Bucherest to pick up the team. A good two days journey. Please pray for God's protection upon the team. If you remember the last team we had in Hungary we had an incident where one of the team members fell 30 feet through the ceiling at the church. At the last report we here he is doing fine after two surgeries to repair a crushed foot and broken arm.

Pray for our leaders
in Hungary that a fresh wind of the Spirit will come to them. They are a wonderful bunch of people. We had a great service at the Szigetszentmiklos church last Sunday as all were there to welcome us back.
Pray for us that God
will continue to use us in Hungary and Easter Europe in the way He chooses so that we may be more effective for His kingdom in these last days. There is much to do and we pray for direction and wisdom and discernment from the Holy Spirit.
God bless all of you as you work for the King, Dave and Linda Fannin

Pray for Estonia: Debbie & Larry Mininger: Ministry Video

Here is our prayer request:
Larry is in Ukraine for 3 weeks. He will perform a wedding, do a Pastors Retreat and a Healing Meeting just in the first 4 days.
The following week Larry will do a 4 day conference in Khmelnitsky, Ukraine and then on to Kivi Rog for a second conference and a 5 day school of ministry. Between the conferences will be more Sunday meetings and leaders meetings. Please pray for strength
and health for Larry during this time and that the anointing will be strong on him.
Larry has already reported many healings that have taken place during the meetings. He said most of those who came forward were healed and the healings was verified.

Pray for Debbie as she stays in Estonia and ministers in the new church that was established in July.
The end of November we will be conducting a Pastors dinner with many ministers all across Estonia. We hope to bless them and their ministry.
Debbie Mininger; Tallinn, Estonia

Pray for Turkey:
Pray for my cousins in Turkey this is what they wrote:

How you can pray this week:
1) Holy Spirit continue to come in power. 2) Signs and Wonders in the power of Jesus name. 3) language study. 4) Strength to pray. 5) Boldness to obey the Holy Spirit. 6) financial provision in this difficult time
Blessings & answers this week
1) We are praying daily at Yeni dogus for a great move of God in this land
2) Last week 22 visitors showed up at church, this was a first for Izmir.
Thank you for praying, Jerry and Terry

Pray for Albania: David & Valbona

Thank you for the opportunity to share our needs with you. The last few months have been very difficult but I believe that we are through it and are stronger for it. Of course there is alway need for more funds but we are out of the woods and Praising God for the victory. We are starting to see new vision, committment and dedication from some of the people and i feel this is growing. We want more of our people to get turned on for Jesus and desire Him above everything else. In the light of His soon return we have a big job to do and need all the workers we can get. We are having a Worship Seminar on November 7 and 8, put on by United Youth for Christ that Valbona started last May with the first National Youth Convention. This movement seems to be growing and we feel this is one way we can have a great impact on this nation. Pray that we have a great turnout and that the whole weekend will have a special anointing of God and we will see His glory and experience His power. We are still waiting for the resources to send Elona to Turkey as a missionary. One of the two fines we received from the government was forgiven so that saved a lot of money but they are now making us put an emergency staircase on the outside of our building. This is going to be very costly. Pray for my, David's, throat and voice. For about 4 weeks it has not been good and at times I have only been able to whisper (some are glad). I need a complete healing. Thanks for your prayers. God bless. David, Valbona, Christopher and Kimberley.

Pastors Peeter & Kristel Ojasaar
Larry & Deborah Mininger
Missionaries to Estonia and Ukraine
We have started a new church in Tallinn, Estonia. So far after just 2 month we have at least 15 committed people willing to help and be a part of the leadership.
We have pastors in place…Peeter & Kristel Ojasaar.
Please remember us in prayer as we travel from Estonia to Ukraine for 3 conferences in 3 weeks.
In our new Church Start Up, we are in need of musical instruments for worship.
Help us pray for those around us that they will come to Christ and be a part of our new work here in Tallinn.
We need to find a successful way to connect with our community.
Pray the Holy Spirit will guide us in this.

Ukraine prayer request

It seems that in the Ukraine the churches that started a drug or ex-prisoner rehab center are the ones that grow fastest. The present problem in these churches is the lack of buildings to house these new believers. Most centers are built as a combination of church and living facilities. May the Lord provide these finances to continue the work among the most needy in the Ukraine.

Ben and Marianne Janssen (Eastern Europe)

Praying for Turkey:We are well and back to Izmir. There is a request we would like to ask you. Could you give a following announcement in the next prayer letter. Our Turkish pastor wants to invite the teams from the churches, schools and individuals to come and serve in the church as volunteers both long and short terms. The church has rented two apartments and furnished them to facilitate the teams. We are willing to help the teams with settling in and translations and show them all hospitality we are able. We mostly look for the teams to serve in evangelism and in supporting the church spiritually through the gifting and calling the teams will have. Could you please forward this e-mail to the churches and teams you know that are interested in serving in Turkey. We would like people who could be effective in evangelism, but if anybody is gifted and capable to serve to the believers, we are open, but it should not be just words, it needs to be something really from the Lord because it is very dry. Thank you . lena

JESUS – MY SAVIOUR
He was bruised and brought healing! He was pierced and eased pain!He was persecuted and brought freedom! He was dead and brought life!He is risen and brings power! He reigns and brings Peace! The world can't understand him,The armies can't defeat Him,The schools can't explain Him, and The leaders can't ignore Him.Herod couldn't kill Him, The Pharisees couldn't confuse Him, and The people couldn't hold Him!Nero couldn't crush Him, Hitler couldn't silence Him,The New Age can't replace Him, and "Oprah" can't explain Him away!
When I fall, He lifts me up!When I fail, He forgives! When I am weak, He is strong! When I am lost, He is the way! When I am afraid, He is my courage! When I stumble, He steadies me!When I am hurt, He heals me!When I am broken, He mends me!When I am blind, He leads me!When I am hungry, He feeds me!When I face trials, He is with me!When I face persecution, He shields me! When I face problems, He comforts me!When I face loss, He provides for me!When I face Death, He carries me Home!

Pray for Eastern Europe:
Ben and Marianne Janssen, Eastern Europe
As of August 8 much is changed in Eastern Europe. Christians and non-Christians alike are asking themselves where the recent tensions will lead to. Almost all countries in this area around the Black Sea are affected in some way or other. Moldova Republic, where we are at this moment,
Turkey, Azerbaijan and the Ukraine are all affected by the unrest.
We ask prayers for all these areas and especially for the new church plant in Gardabani, Georgia.
Ben and Marianne Janssen, Eastern Europe

Pray for Romania:
Teo Bulzan
Greetings from Romania. My suggestion for prayer request is: Pray for the European Pentecostal Holiness Conference taking place next year, May 13 - 15, in Oradea - Romania. Pray for the participants, for the speakers and, especially that this will be an unforgettable experience for all the participants.Pray for a new church we'll plant in a large city in Romania - Arad. There are some obstacles to that, pray for all barriers to be removed.Teo Bulzan
Bonnie Clowers, our iWIN Director in the Latin America/Caribbean region, just called requesting we specifically pray for Haiti and the surrounding area including Cuba which is in the path of Hurricane Hanna and the 2 other storms following her. The LAMCAR region is hosting the first ever Women’s Conference in Haiti September 9-16. Many women from the US are scheduled to attend this conference and minister to the women. Bonnie and Darrel need God’s clear direction about this conference and other plans for the near future as they face these storms. There have already been many mudslides on the roads which inhibit travel for the local women as well as those who may come from other areas. Please pray for discernment and wisdom as they determine the best course of action in light of all they are dealing with.

“Roll your works upon the Lord (commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and) so shall your plans be established and succeed.” Proverbs 16:3

Prayer is our door opener to the Middle East so pick one or two of these countries to pray that the Lord will show us His keys to establishing a work there: Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Iran, Yemen, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emeritus, Omen.
Pray for Dave and Linda Fannin

We need now is finance to return to the field. Also keep in prayer the mission team in Romania at this time. There is a ·visit the vision· construction team with Brenda Clowers; over 20 Americans. Also, Cindy our niece is in Hungary she is involved in the youth camps and vacation Bible schools going on now. she is also instrumental in painting and helping to renovate the RC center in Hungary. She fell this week and is really sore so pray for her recovery.
Pray for safety as we continue to travel & itinerating but mostly that God stirs the heart of all those we come in contact with to have a great desire for the Great Commission.

Ben and Marianne Janssen: missionaries to Eastern Europe

At this time we would like to ask prayer for the people in North East Romania and the west of the Ukraine. Four people are killed in our part of Romania and 26 in the Ukraine due to severe flooding. Dozens of Ukrainians are still missing. There are a total of 396 villages covered in water. At some places the water level rose ten meters in the rivers. The weather is still unstable. This is the most severe flooding in the last 100 years.

There are lots of things I could write as prayer requests and many praise reports as God has been doing great things. The National Youth Convention was a huge success, people have been getting healed and souls have been getting saved. However I guess Satan is mad and all of a sudden our finances dried up. I guess with the dollar going down and prices going up it has hurt us a lot. Plus the government is charging us for things not done that we didn't know needed to be done and that is the equivalent of taking food out of over 90 children's mouths for a month. So yesterday July 21st I had to lay off all our staff. Some will stay on as volunteers and some will go find other jobs. Please pray with us for a mighty miracle. Thank you. David, Valbona, Christopher and Kimberley

Pray for Macedonia Samuel and Raquel missionaries in Macedonia from Mexico

Pray that God will open the doors for our return to Macedonia. That the finances will come in and that we will be able to renew our visas. We need Gods grace that we will find favour with the authorities. Our visa ended the first of August so we need Gods grace. The laws have changed so we have to begin the process over again. We have to leave the country and return with a tourist visa to begin the process over; prayer for the favour of God. We also need a family to come and help us in the church planting here in Macedonia.

Dave and Kathy Glover Bristol, England

Prayer request/praise
Our God is good. We are working with other churches in North Bristol to promote an event called 'Hope 08, the Noise'. It will run 3rd-5th May. Hundreds of Christians are going to be sharing the love of God in practical ways, the aim is to let people see Jesus in us and so want what we've got. In our area of Southmead we are holding a kid's club (our church is hosting it) and there will be a community fun day on the Monday (5th). Dave and I went to an update session and we were really blessed to find there will be a 'prayer tent' on the green at the fun day, so people can lay their burdens at the feet of Jesus!
Praise
Our church isn't very affluent and not many are in full time employment, but our God owns the cattle on a thousand hills!
We needed to renovate a room at our church and so one of our members felt led to approach a big DIY store to see if they could help, and praise God they sent us a voucher which paid for all we needed, with some left for when we start on the kitchen!
Yours in Christ

Pray for Amsterdam Matt and Femke Helland,
http://www.hellands.org

Dear friends and prayer partners we thank you so much for keeping us in your prayers.
· We are seeing a steady group of non churched people (most are not Christians) who come to our services every month. Pray that they will find our message practical for their life. Praise the Lord! For our Easter service we had first time guests included Muslims, atheists and other people who have never been to a church!
· We ask for breakthrough in the lives of people we minister to.
One of the people who has become a believer has fallen back in drug use, the last couple of weeks. Pray for this person specifically. We are around a lot of people who are dealing with fear, depression, suicidal thoughts, no hope. Please pray that we would see people set free from this!
· The men that are part of the Alpha course are so close to accepting the Lord, but are still holding off because they are not ready to give up the life they live (drugs, crime). They think that first there life needs to be 'perfect' before they can accept the Lord. Pray for a miraculous touch of God on their lives!
· We ask for a breakthrough in the situation with our house. Please pray we would get the permits that we need and make any necessary repairs before we leave to the States (early May).
· We will be in the states so pray that our team for the Church plant; for wisdom, unity, strength, vision as we are gone.
Blessings, Matt & Femke, Judah and Hannah

This month we are in need of prayer for different things:

1. Please pray for the Logos Church it finally stabilized and God has brought to us two wonderful families from Rwanda and from Togo. We are in the need of appointing leaders and close to appointing our first deaconess.

2. Please pray for the Logos Bible School now recognized by IPHC. We are having good moments in this school and we are training at the moment 30 people from 15 countries. We have asked two graduate students to teach a class and we pray that wisdom and knowledge may flow through them. We are also beginning in September with the third year.

3. Please pray for the IPHC of Belgium. We have currently 3 ministers but several people are interested. That we may become a church with a clear representation of the Belgian population.

4. Please pray for my health I have had back problems for many years and I was already OK after many therapy sessions and two days ago I slipped in the staircase and fell straight on my bottom and I have pain again. The doctors have prescribed therapy sessions with the specialist but pain remains.

The great day arrived! The IPHC building team began to work in Hungarian conference center, Kánó!
The Hungarians made their best effort to prepare everything, what could be necessary. Finally 7 Americans will repair the building supported by 7 Hungarians. We should pray that the complete work happen smoothly and without any accident! He should present enormous power and wisdom that the builder could finish everything what is planned !God should provide all the missing money to finish completely the project! He is faithful!

Thank God that all preparations are in good progress for IPHC World Conference, Vancouver! We are excited to meet new friends and see old ones: we have the chance to meet few our former church members after 30 years! We are praying for mutual blessings.

Pray for Albania David and Valbona Pennoyer
Prayer requests:

1. Pray for all the people who have heard about Albania and the Philippines the last 2 1/2 months that they will continue to pray and give so that the work God has called us to do can go forward. We praise God for the good response during my time in North America.
2. Pray for the political situation in Albania because of the unrest caused by the explosion.
3. Pray for all those who lost loved ones and all those who have been hurt or lost their possessions because of the explosion.
4. Pray for the Evangelical Churches as we help and build relationships with the people from this explosion during this time so that they would see the love of God and the kingdom of God could go forward and may we see fruits of our labor.
5. Pray for the 1st National Youth Convention that Valbona is in charge of and has been planning for the 1st weekend in May. Pray that they would experience the Glory of God and go back to change their cities, towns and villages for Jesus so that we could experience Albania's first National Revival.
6. Pray for the hedge of protection and the covering of the blood of Jesus over us as leaders, our missionaries and staff in body soul and spirit, as we are continually being attacked by the enemies of our souls. Pray that the work of God would continue to go forward.
7. Pray for a release of resources so that we can accomplish the big goals that God has given us.
8. Pray that God would bring across our paths the right support staff. We also need a teacher for our children who have been without one since the middle of November. If we don't get one when I get back I will be taking over their education which means other ministry work won't get done but our children are important to us.

Also pray for me, David as Christopher and I go to the Philippines for a crusade with our church there this month. Pray for the power of God to bring souls into the kingdom and that signs and wonders and miracles will follow the preaching of the word.

God has started to move in our church but we desire this to happen all the time. On Sunday a lady who had been blind in one eye for 4 years was healed during the service. Others were touched by the Glory of God. For this we are thankful, but we desire more.
God bless. In His Service. David, Valbona, Christopher and Kimberley.

PRAYING FOR: EUROPE AND THE MIDDLE EAST

Bob and Carol Cave Overseas Ministry Coordinator for Europe and the Middle East

Greetings to you. First of all I would like to give you a praise report that God always answers our prayers. Sometimes it may be different or slower than we'd expect. A little over a month ago, while I was in Ashburham, England at the pastors retreat, and Carol was in Canada she was taken to the hospital by ambulance for emergency surgery for a twisted/obstructed bowel. God has now rapidly healed this process and she accompanied me on March 10th to North Carolina to do the Global Outreach meals. ( of course I carried the suitcases......)
We are grateful to the Lord and we are so appreciative of the wonderful prayer Network that you have put together. It is the backbone of a strong bond we can have as a missions family to lift each other up in prayer.

Let's pray for each other as we travel to the Vancouver Conference and this will be a great enriching of our lives as we hear what God is doing around the world. Pray for each others ministries that our relationship with our Lord will always remain the main focus.

Blessings from Bob & Carol

We are settling in and Praise the Lord. We're now only waiting for our National Insurance numbers which will officially allow us to work. Willie has had a number of invitations to minister & we hope to be taking them up shortly. We had interviews for work: assisting adults with learning difficulties. Thank you for prayer regarding employment. Things are in the process of coming together & we thank the Lord for answering prayer. We are sharing with a group of Bible School students on missions.
The Lord knows what we can handle & we're trusting Him to continue to direct our steps.

We both pastor the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Southmead, Bristol, England. Our church was built around 1960 and is on an inner city council estate. We would value prayer for various outreach projects we are involved in this year. The field is hard going and the labourers get weary, but by God's grace we will see souls saved & lives changed. · For the church we are seeing an increase in people coming to the lord please pray that the lord opens the flood gates further and provides us with the resources to bless and minister to every individuals needs. Pray for our pastors and elders that God blesses them with energy ,strength and enthusiasm for the growth that is taking place. Pray for strategy and vision at this time.

Pray for Brussels, Belgium , Mauricio and Lulu Salazar:
www.pastormau.com

This month we are in need of prayer for different things:

1. Please pray for the Logos Church it finally stabilized and God has brought to us two wonderful families from Rwanda and from Togo. One of the men (Marius) was born again in the PH work in Togo and his mom is the women's ministries director. We are having constant visitors basically all new and few Christians and we pray that this will bring the church to the moment of solidification.

Thanks and God bless you, Mauricio, Lourdes, Betsabé and Obed

I was talking with David Fannin by IM the other day and He told me what had happened. He is in Hungry with a team working on the building. It was the first day and one of the men fell through the ceiling 30 feet to the floor. He broke both his arm and leg in several places. He was taken to the hospital where he had surgery. He is doing ok but what a way to begin on the first day! They were putting in a floor over the sanctuary of the church. He stepped through the floor joist and fell through. His wife is flying in so please remember them in your prayers.

God bless. In His Service. David, Valbona, Christopher and Kimberley.

March Prayer Letter 2008
PRAYER FOCUS: Praying for Europe

PRAYING FOR: EUROPE AND THE MIDDLE EAST Bob and Carol Cave
Overseas Ministry Coordinator for Europe and the Middle East
Well I can say we really experienced the WIN in action this past week or so and it is truly reassuring. Thank you again for all you are doing and we'll be praying as we take this all to a higher level.....here is my P & P report

Thank you Nancy for heading up WIN and we give thanks as I truly saw and felt the network in action. Thanks to our Lord and Savior because He does have us in is BIG Hands. As of today( Saturday March 1 ) Carol is doing much better. As Nancy reported she was discharged from the hospital on Monday and had such a bad night I had to take her back through Emergency on Tuesday morning.
Of course no emergency happens at a good time. Carol was in Canada looking after our grandchildren as our son and his wife took their first vacation alone since they married 17 years ago. I was in Ashburnham England at the British Pastors retreat so I took off right away and got in the next afternoon. I say all that to say that God gave us all a peace and was already taking care of things for which I give Him praise. Praise Him also for a good recovery.
Please remember Carol as she fully recovers and we get back on schedule next week in the North Carolina Global Outreach promotions.
Thanks to all of you..............Love ............Bob & Carol

February Prayer Letter 2008 THE YEAR OF NEW BEGINNINGS
PRAYING FOR: EUROPE AND THE MIDDLE EAST
Bob and Carol Cave: Overseas Ministry Coordinator for Europe and the Middle East
"Prayer Request"

The great moves of the Holy Spirit we proceeded as groups and individuals focused on prayer to break the strongholds that have been set in place. We as His warriors are never fully equipped until we realize the power of prayer. The war itself is prayer. The strategy is prayer. As we target it on those stronghold as obstacles we can stand amazed at the results.

I so much appreciate what Nancy gets accomplished by making our partitions known to one another. This gets a lot of momentum behind a focal point. I'm sure we will all remember of fellow missionaries in Kenya. that God will protect and lead them in safety as they move from place to place.
Remember the Todd Presleys' and the Fannins on Furlough, you know what it's like.
Please pray for God's perfect plan for IPHC in Israel. there is a lot of real interest there this past year. We are in the midst of partnering with an IPHC couple who have 2 Houses of Prayer there. Also Leta Dantzler, who served in Hong Kong and Haiti is there in one of them and she is going to rejoin missions. Pray for her as her mother just passed away this week in a nursing home and she won’t be going home until Feb.20th.
Pray for our fellow brother/sisters in Uzbekistan. They are still sealed out of their building and house churches are illegal. They are meeting in cell groups.
Igor and Lena,’ our National missionaries in Izmir Turkey are in financial need personally as well as their mission work.
Of course we are in need of prayer so let's remember one another.
Blessings ..................Bob & Carol

Pray for Amsterdam Matt and Femke Helland, http://www.hellands.org/

Please pray for our house. We bought our home a year and a half ago and suddenly there has been a rash of things breaking down or falling apart. The former owners built part of our house illegally and now the city wants us to get permits and other paperwork for the house. The biggest thing however is our basement (40% of our house). It is leaking and it costs a lot of money to get it fixed. Please pray for all of these situations to be resolved and that God will be glorified even in this situation. Also, that these things will not be able to absorb our focus and energy on the things for which God has called us here to Amsterdam for.

On the ministry side, please pray for a new alpha course we will start this month. Pray that we will have new students enroll and that this course will be full of people wanting to get to know God. Thanks for keeping our kid's club in prayer and all of our other activities and contacts.

Praise Report: A large part of Amsterdam's red light district is in the process of being permanently shut down. We recognize this as an answer to years of prayer. Keep the prayers coming this way. Sincerely, Matt and Femke Helland

Mauricio, Lourdes, Betsabé and Obed Salazar
Missionaries serving Jesus in Brussels the Capital of Belgium & Europe
Please pray for us as a family because our kids are entering their teenage years. We all need wisdom to go through this stage of their lives and be successful.

Please pray for the Logos Church, because even though it’s been over two years since we planted this church yet the members are few and we have gone through several problems and people that where not born again there have little by little left. We remain with a group of about 18 people. That they may be united, grow in wisdom and in grace and be successful evangelists.

Please pray for the Eglise Pentecôtiste Internationale, the other IPHC church in Brussels. Pastor Paulin Afanvi is doing well and has an international church that is working well with about 30 new people.

Please pray that Belgium and all the people living here may be open to hear the gospel and relate to the people surrounding them. We want to be reaching out to the people that have never have heard the gospel and this is a perfect place for that.

Please pray for the government sponsored public grade school “Les Tournesols” (The Sunflowers). I have been a part of the board for now about 6 years. All the teachers are born again believers and see their job as a ministry. Many kids have heard the gospel and believed in that school. I heard the testimony of a 4th grade Muslim kid that comes to the school even though it’s Christian and how she received Jesus. One night as she was sleeping, our dear Lord Jesus came to her & gently woke her up and spent some time talking to her. This is the testimony of a 9 year old girl! Please pray for that school.
Ricardo and Shadely: Missionaries

Praise the Lord we have are residence now and it was a great victory!
Prayer Request:

1. That hearts will be open to the message of Christ. That their small groups will grow and multiply.
2. Funds will come in for the projects and evangelism of the children.
3. Funds for the Church building.
4. Open hearts for others to come and help us in the work.Pray for Fardin, Turquian, Hizmet, Seniye, Gulses, Gulyian, Bildad, Erhan and for the children and teenagers.

Pray for Hungary: Mézes Lászlo President of IPHC in Hungary
*Our prayer request is, that the preparation should be smooth /Canadian visa, travel, to the World Congress in May, Vancouver. The congress takes only 4 days, but if we travel so far and pay so much for airfare we would like to stay for one more week in Canada /May 17-24/.
*For this week we would like to find a church or a family within IPHC who would welcome us, so we could make a strong, friendly connection between Hungary and IPHC in Vancouver area.
*Our denomination owns a simple, rustic conference estate among mountains in Hungary / http://www.szabadkeresztyen.hu/ -"magunkról" file: Kánó/, but for years we could not develop there anything in lack of finances. We are grateful to God and IPHC, that this year an American building team will come between March 29. - April 8. and help us to repair and finish the church building. Our prayer request is, that the preparation / construction permit from authorities, buying right building material, Hungarian translators, etc/ should be successful and the whole work would bring blessing into our life mutually.

Pray for Tallinn, Estonia Larry and Deborah Mininger
Deborah and I are right in the middle of an extensive filming of our Advantage University course that is 4 months long here in Estonia. We have attempted to put the school on DVD for 8 years so we can send it to regions beyond where we cannot go. Each time there has been a hindrance with our equipment that stalls the process. Again, the new course was written, translated, printed, students enrolled and the first class began. Our camera man was recording with our 6 year old JVC digital and it lasted 6 minutes before going out. We lost the first 16 hours of the class. Yes we took it to the repair shop. It worked there but not in class. We called our Christian friend at the TV studio and he came out within the hour. He said; “You are trying to do professional grade work with consumer grade equipment. You need a professional camera with a 2 channel external microphone to accomplish your task. The first channel allows you to maintain your English voice and the second can be recorded over by one of the 8 languages that you minister in.” He immediately searched for and found the exact camera we need and the cost ranged from $3,500 dollars to 6,000 dollars. We then found the same camera on Ebay for sale with less than 1 hour on the recording clock. It cost $1900 dollars. We prayed much about this situation. Our ministry is in great need of this camera for Bible School, new church plant documentation, conferences, itineration purposes and quarterly DVD updates to churches about our ministry. We felt assured from the Lord that this piece of equipment was justified and we stepped out by faith and purchased it. We took money from our retirement savings to do it. We did not feel that we could ask anyone else to step out in faith if we did not do it first. You had to know how important we think this is to our ministry. It is a Sony HVR-A1U. If large ministries can raise millions for buildings they need, we concluded that God would help us to raise $1900 dollars for equipment we need. Our ministry an the people we reach are no less significant to God! Thank you for being perceptive!Dear friend, you have followed our ministry for some time and have demonstrated trust in Deb and I. Will you consider sending a large one time gift toward the cost of this camera? Maybe God will put it on your heart to underwrite the entire purchase. You may click on the following link below for more photos and specs on the camera.Thank you and we love you,Larry and Deborah Mininger

Pray for Albania David and Valbona Pennoyer
Greetings in Jesus’ Name!
I David, am in North America right now itinerating. Valbona is in Albania with the children. These things in themselves bring up lots of prayer requests.

1. Valbona needs prayer as she looks after things in the ministry back home and also has to deal with the children by herself.

2. I need prayer for protection while I travel and success in raising support and awareness for our ministry in Albania and the Philippines.

3. Christopher and Kimberley need prayer as daddy is away and mommy is busy.

4. We all need prayer as our family is separated. We just couldn’t afford to all go back this year as the falling dollar has really affected us.

5. We need a teacher for Christopher and Kimberley. They finished grade 2 and 1 in November and their teacher left to prepare for China so we desperately need a teacher. If we don’t find one then I will have to take that over which means other areas will suffer but our children are of utmost importance.

6. Pray for the National Youth Convention that Valbona is in charge of and is planning for early in May. We want to bring the youth from across the nation together in our city to challenge them to take Albania for Jesus.
We have never had a national revival but I believe with much prayer this could be the start of something that will turn Albania right side up for Christ.

7. We have a couple big projects on the drawing board. A dairy farm with Biblical work training in life skills for youth and we have been asked to start and direct an Orphanage. Both these projects will take a great deal of capital so we ask for God’s guidance in these areas.

8. Many of our youth want to go for training but we need sponsors for them.

9. A couple of our youth who have been in training have made major bad decision that could wreck the rest of their life and ministry. Pray for them that they will turn things around by making proper decisions.

10. We need two buildings for churches. One in Albania and one in the Philippines. Again we need a miracle of gigantic proportions. But our God is able.

11. We need sponsors to support Elona a young lady from our church who has been called is trained and ready to go to Turkey as a missionary.

12. We thank the many that prayed for Pastor Alex’s little girl Shekinah in the Philippines who fell out of the vehicle a few months ago. It was amazing how the body of Christ pulled together to pray and cover the medical expenses that they experienced during this time. All that has been taken care of and we have about 2/3rd of the funds raised for a vehicle for the ministry there that is so necessary there.

13. We need to finish raising fund for the vehicle in the Philippines and we need a couple more in Albania as well. God bless and keep looking up. In His Service David J. Pennoyer

Next week we return to Denizli to pray and serve the small group of believers meeting there.
It's a 3 1/2 hour trip one way on public transportation.
We need: STRENGTH for travel and staying in private homes
HIS ANOINTING a fresh. Lord pour out Your glory
WISDOM AND DISCERNMENT to only do and say what the Father wants us to do
PROTECTION as the believers here are under surveillance, when we are there we are as well.
BREAKTHROUGH is needed! There is a strong resistance present. Pray the Spirit of Praise and Worship
A RISE! Lord show Yourself strong!
Thank you for praying. Prayer is the key to God's heart. Your prayers really make the difference. We love and appreciate you. What a privilege it is to serve as Co-laborers together. To God to the glory great things He has done and continues to do. Not unto us of Lord, not unto us but unto Your name give glory for Your Mercy and Your Truth sake. Ps 115:1Co-laborers In Christ

Some of you have ask for more information about the 21-day fast that is being organized by the International Center for Spiritual Renewal and the IPHC. The Awakening America Alliance, a group of leaders from various denominations, has called for this fast beginning January 1, 2008. To find out more information click on this link http://win.iphc.org/ . Our call to prayer says: “Together we are praying for a spiritual awakening to sweep across America to change hearts and lives and bring millions into the Kingdom of God.” I encourage you to join thousands of Christians in a time to humble ourselves, pray and seek the Lord for mercy and revival. It can also be a time to seek the Lord for personal direction, empowerment and grace for the new year, as well as for breakthroughs in your health, ministry or family life. What is a "Daniel fast"? It is a partial fast based on Daniel 10:2-3. Daniel wrote that he mourned for three weeks, during which he ate "no tasty food, nor did meat or wine enter my mouth." The exact guidelines for this fast are not clear, but most people see it as a time to eat only simple fruits and vegetables.
Here are some simple guidelines for a Daniel fast. The list of foods below is not meant to be a law. The important thing is that you determine the guidelines and then stick to them during the 21 days. Keep in mind that during any type of fast, you may experience fatigue, headaches or irritability because your body begins to expel toxins. Also, you should always consult a doctor before fasting if you have certain medical conditions such as diabetes or if you are on medication.Feel free to share this information with your church or prayer group.
